The HV-600 Russco Controller is mounted above the motor and is rated at 600 amps, 6-156 volts, and can motor the vehicle or provide motor field excitation during regenerative braking. The controller uses three 300 amp low loss transistor modules mounted on a high efficiency heat sink using axial fan cooling. The controller is 14 inches long and weighs under 15 pounds. An Albright SW200 series contactor, a Buss KAA-400 amp fuse and a Curtis PB6 potbox comprise some of the peripheral controller safeties.
